Retha Mae (Smith) Workman, Smithfield, Pa.

     Retha Mae (Smith) Workman 91 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

     She was born October 22, 1926 in Chilicothe, Ohio.

     Retha was predeceased by her parents, Hobert and Neva Jeffers Smith; siblings, Delbert Smith, Hobert Smith Jr., Roma Bishop, Jane DeWitt, Sally Jackson, Billy Smith and Charlie Smith; husband of 50 years, Ralph W. “Buck” Workman; daughter, Donna Mae Nickalow and son-in-law, Thomas W. Maust.

     Surviving are her children, Robert Workman and wife Michelle, Beverly Walters, Sandra Maust and Paul Workman; grandchildren, Carol Nickalow, Robert Nickalow Jr., Laurie Nickalow, Jamie Workman, Jennifer Workman, Jenell Workman, Robert Walters and Michael S. Walters; many great grandchildren; sister, Marion Murry; son-in-law, Robert Nickalow and many nieces and nephews.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. The funeral service begins at 10:00 a.m.

     Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
