Alan Lee Wilson, 33, of Smock, Pa passed away November 25, 2019 in Allegheny General Hospital due to complications of heart surgery.
He was born January 8, 1986 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Sylvester Alan and Cheryl Wilson (Campbell) of Smithfield, Pa.
Alan graduated from Albert Gallatin High School Class of 2004 and was employed in the gas and oil field for many years currently with Control Tech as a Lead PSV Technician.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Sylvester Albert Wilson, Jr and step grandfather, Ed Bierce.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Shannon Rockwell, her husband Daniel, and two nephews, Colin and Nathan Rockwell. Surviving also are grandparents, Larry and Dot (Rosella) Campbell and Carol Bierce; two uncles, Rodger Wilson and Larry (Melissa) Campbell; cousins and a large extended family. Alan will also be missed by a large group of friends that were like family to him.
Alan was known for his generosity and amazing sense of humor. He lived his life to the fullest in the short amount of time he had.
The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.
