Carol Ann (Hixenbaugh) McClain

Carol Ann McClain, Smithfield, Pa.

     Carol Ann McClain, 76 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 and went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

     She was born August 19, 1942 in Brier Hill, Pa.

      Preceding her in death were her parents, John Hixenbaugh and Sara (Moody) Hixenbaugh and daughter-in-law Robin.

     Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Charles McClain; children, Chuck McClain and wife Betty and Sara Reinhard and husband Bob; grandchildren, Chuck McClain and wife Stephanie, Leanne Efaw and husband Daniel and RJ Reinhard; brother-in-law, Lee McClain; niece Dolly and other family members.

     Carol was a longtime faithful member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. She also was a pack leader for Cub Scout Pack 696 for over 40 years.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation in the Oak Hill Baptist Church, 100 Old Frame Road, Smithfield, Pa. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Charles Bowser officiating.

     Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

     Boy Scout Vesper Service Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.
