Charles C. Conaway, Smithfield, Pa.

     Charles C. Conaway, 79 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

     He was born May 24, 1939 in Georges Township, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Alva Conaway and Minnesota (Jenkins) Conaway; his wife, Margaret Ann (Clark) Conaway and siblings, Bertha Little, Clara Lou Conaway, Jackson Conaway, Alva Herbert Conaway Jr. and Okey Conaway.

     Surviving are his children, Patty Williams and husband Jon, Mark A. Conaway and Sean R. Conaway and his girlfriend Chris DeJoy; grandchildren, Justin M. Williams, Charity M. Williams, Kristi L. Williams, Bethany A. Williams and Sean D. Conaway; great granddaughter, Jocelynn; siblings, Elizabeth Isler, Mildred Shaffer, Opal McArdle, Blain Conaway, James Conaway and his wife Ruth, Beatrice Kozy and her husband Jack, Belva Hanon and Linda Maust and many nieces and nephews.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Glenn Walker officiating.

     Interment will follow in Springhill Union Cemetery, Route 119 South, Lake Lynn, Pa.
