Cynthia Dawn Leech, Lake Lynn, Pa.
Cynthia Dawn Leech, 62 of Springhill Township, Lake Lynn, Pa. passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
She was born August 22, 1956 in Uniontown, Pa.
Preceding her in death were her parents, John Merle Kremer and Jenny Evelyn (Rowan) Kremer; father-in-law, Bill Leech and brother-in-law, Mark Leech.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Brad Leech; children, Jennifer “Jenny” and husband Jonathan Packroni and Jason Leech and girlfriend Macey Demniak; sister, Cheryl Jordan and husband Roger; mother-in-law, Margaret P. Leech; sisters-in-law, Margie Hartman and husband Brock, Belinda Smochinsky and husband Joe, Beth Dennis and husband Ross and Margie Leech; many loving nieces and nephews and best friend and first cousin who was like a sister, Karen Wilson.
Cindy was a loving mother and wife and a great cook who also loved flower gardening and mowing the grass.
She loved her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Smithfield.
Cindy was a graduate and Valedictorian of Aliquippa High School Class of 1974.
She was employed as a secretary for many years at Smithfield Elementary School and was known around the school as Miss Cindy. All the Albert Gallatin School System Staff dearly loved her.
The family will greet friends and family in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 30 Church Street, Smithfield, Pa. on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Darrell Edgar and Pastor Jay Hurley officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smithfield Elementary PTO and/or Mount Moriah Christian School.
A Special Thank You is extended to Amedisys Hospice of Masontown for all of the loving care given to Cindy.
