Donald R. Smith “Sonny”, Uniontown, Pa.

     Donald R. Smith “Sonny” 74 of Uniontown, Pa. died on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in the Uniontown Hospital with his loving family by his side.

     He was born July 1, 1944 in Georges Township, Pa. the son of the late Donald Smith and Effie (Moats) Smith.

     Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sharon (Hinebaugh) Smith; son, Donald Smith Jr. and wife Lisa; five brothers and two sisters and their families, Carl Smith, Larry Smith, Frank Smith, Ken Smith, Jim Smith, Darlene Novak and Brenda Hartman.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Pete Malik officiating.

     Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
