Genevieve Florence (Hiles) Silbaugh “Genny”, Shoaf, Pa.

     Genevieve Florence (Hiles) Silbaugh “Genny”, 70 of Shoaf, Pa. passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side.

    She was born January 1, 1948 in Connellsville, Pa., the daughter of James Leroy Hiles and Marcella (Roux) Hiles.

     Genny was predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Mary Ellen Felton and Marlene Rose Churby.

     Surviving are her children, Lisa Marie Silbaugh and boyfriend Joseph Bakewell, John David Silbaugh Jr. and wife Argelis and James Michael Silbaugh and wife Sherri; niece whom she raised like a daughter, Jennifer VanKirk and husband Carl; grandchildren, Michael Silbaugh and fiance’ Angelia Bernardini, Jessica Silbaugh and boyfriend Joseph Bakewell, John Silbaugh III, Amy Silbaugh, Cassie VanKirk and fiance’ Joshua Raub, Thomas VanKirk and girlfriend Sydney Fowler and Justin Fowler; great grandchildren, Cristian, Joseph and Harlee; brother-in-law, John Churby and family; longtime companion, Carl Hancheck and her loving dog, Raven.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, July 13, 2018 until 10:00 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with Father Gade Reddy officiating.

     Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. 15436.
