Kathryn "Katie" Kloc

Kathryn "Katie" Kloc, 91 passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Mount Saint Macrina Manor where she had resided for the past four years.

Kathryn was a lifelong resident of RD # 2 Uniontown, Wynn, Pa.

She was the last living member of the Michael Kloc Sr. Family. Kathryn was the daughter of Michael Kloc Sr. and Mary (Kotradi) Kloc. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Bacha and Anna Kloc and four brothers, Michael Kloc Jr., John Kloc, George Kloc and Edward Kloc.

Kathryn is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her very dear friends in Wynn.

Katie was a very quiet and gentle person who enjoyed the simple things of life. She especially enjoyed sewing, baking and annual church related activities.

The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. when a Panachida Service will be held. The Divine Liturgy follows at 11:00 a.m. in the Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Church, 185 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa. with Rev. Fr. Ronald P. Larko officiating.

Interment will follow in Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
