Margaret (Bartko) Baird

Margaret Baird, Smithfield, Pa.

     Margaret Baird, 94 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

     She was born January 5, 1925 in Haydentown, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael Bartko and Mary Stania Bartko; husband, Albert Baird; brothers, John and Joseph; sisters, Agnes, Helen, Mary, Kate, Dorthy and twin sister Ann; and sisters-in-law, Patty and Wanda.

     Surviving are her son, David Baird and Jane; daughter and caregiver, Laurel Patterson; daughter, Joy Patterson and husband Mike; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her cat Chloe.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service begins at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Walls officiating.

     Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
