Marilyn D. Miller, Uniontown, Pa.

      Marilyn D. Miller, 91 of Uniontown, Pa. died peacefully at Uniontown Hospital on December 19, 2018 with family at her side.

     She was born May 25, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pa. the daughter of Jesse W. and Hilda C. Miller.

     Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, Jesse Miller Jr. and Ronald Miller.

     Surviving are her sister, Betty Murphy and many relatives and friends.

     She received her Master’s Degree in the Library School at University of Pittsburgh. Marilyn became a medical librarian at the Veterans Administration in Washington D.C., Birmingham, Alabama and Shreveport, Louisiana and then retired from Uniontown Hospital.

     She led the music at Tent Presbyterian Church.

      The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Carol Friend officiating.
