Paul David Lawrence

Paul David Lawrence, 76, of Uniontown, PA, died on May 2, 2018. 

He was born in Akron, OH, on October 11, 1941, son of the late Paul J. Lawrence and the late Ruth Hannan Lawrence.

Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Jodi Tressler Lawrence; his daughter, Amy Lawrence, and his brothers Larry and William Lawrence.

He worked in building construction and retired as a security guard for two hotels.  He loved to fish, bowl, and make beautiful wood carvings, but his greatest joy in life were his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Amber “Tamara” Lawrence and grandsons, Levi and Seth of Tempe, AZ; son,  Michael Lawrence and his wife Melissa and grandchildren, Michael Jr., Chloe, Alyssa, Hayley and Hannah Lawrence and 10 step-grandchildren all of Uniontown and son, Craig Dodson and fiance’ Robin Davis and grandson, Armoni Dodson all of Uniontown, PA; siblings, Dana Rhodes, Vera Zidermanis, and his twin sister, Paula Harris, all of Waco, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, PA.
