Richard Dwight Walkos Sr., Uniontown, Pa.

     Richard Dwight Walkos Sr., 61 of Uniontown, Pa. died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Jefferson Hospital with his loving family by his side.

     He was born January 10, 1957 in Brownsville, Pa. the son of Joseph Walkos and Beatrice (Parker) Walkos.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, James Walkos and Robert Walkos and sister-in-law, Mildred Walkos.

     Surviving are his children, Darla and husband Michael McClead of Masontown, Pa., Richard Jr. and wife Nicole Walkos, Uniontown, Pa. and Joseph and wife Desiree Walkos, Uniontown, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael McClead and fiance’ Amber Young, Zachary McClead, Brylea Walkos and Kaylee Walkos; great grandchild, Bryce McClead; siblings, Patricia and husband Julius Kotlarsic, Michigan, David and wife Margaret Walkos, Uniontown, Pa., Lois Wilson, Uniontown, Pa., Roger and wife Cindy Walkos, Hopwood, Pa., Brenda Earley, Unontown, Pa., Linda Walkos, Uniontown, Pa., Jacqueline and husband Roy Staggers, Uniontown, Pa. and Brian Walkos, Uniontown, Pa.; sister-in-law, Mandy Walkos, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and friends.

     Richard worked hard his whole life and enjoyed working with his hands.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon LaMar Hill officiating.

     Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa.
