Robert Lowell “Bob” “Botto” Fisher, Ronco, Pa.

     Robert Lowell “Bob” “Botto” Fisher, 77 of Ronco, Pa. passed away peacefully on January 10, 2019 at his home. He was affectionately known as “Bro” to his family.

     Born October 28, 1941, he was the son of the late George Webster “Buzz” Fisher and Celia Belle Cooper.

     He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, George Fisher and Ronald “Jake” Fisher; three sisters, Elinore “Dolly” Blanchard, Norita “Gooch” Pishko and Mary “Dinks” Gaster.

     Bob married Joann Bennett on September 10, 1960 in Lambert, Pa. and they had six sons. Surviving are his wife, Joann (Bennett) Fisher; sons, Robert, Gary, Ronald, Tracy, Jason and Brandon; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Pamela Fisher and several nieces and nephews.

     He was employed at Volkswagen, McGraw Edison and also did asbestos removal. He retired around 2005.

     His hobbies included hunting and volunteering at the Faith-Gray-McArdle VFW Post in Masontown, Pa. He was a lifetime member of the Ronco Volunteer Fire Department.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Yeager officiating.

     Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
