Roy Braden Zack

Roy B. Zack, Uniontown, Pa.

     Roy Braden Zack, 78 of Uniontown, Pa. died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in a vehicle crash.

     He was born June 24, 1940 in Normalville, Pa.

     Roy was predeceased by his parents, Roy Johnson and Effa Mae Bowers.

     Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Ida (Fowler) Newcomer Zack; children, Larna Swope and her husband Barron Swope, Roy E. Zack and his companion Heather Wingard, Martha Fisch and her husband Lewis Fisch, Sherry Zack and her companion,  John Zack and Effa-Mae Allery; 22 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; half-sisters, Darlene and Martha; half-brothers, Kenny and Roy and nieces and nephews.

     Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army; a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved by family and friends and a devoted, hard working, reliable person.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sandy DeWitt officiating.

     Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
