William David Wiles

William David Wiles, McClellandtown, Pa.

     William David Wiles passed away at home on November 28, 2018 at the age of 74.

     He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Joyce Wiles of 53 years; a daughter, Tina Wiles of Uniontown, Pa.; a son, Jeffrey Wiles and his wife Bobbie of Uniontown, Pa.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Wiles of Uniontown, Pa., Melissa Wiles of Farmington, Pa. and Chaz Rush of McClellandtown, Pa.; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda McCormick and Donna Heeter and several nieces and nephews.

     He was predeceased by his parents, David and Leona Wiles; son, Scott Wiles; brother, Ronald Wiles and sister, Carolyn Smith.

     Bill was a retired coal miner of 27 years from US Steel Maple Creek Mine.

     He enjoyed woodworking, tending to his chickens and garden and riding his tractor.

     Bill will be missed by all who knew him.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to William D. Wiles Memorial Fund, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. 15436.
