Albert Angel Jr, 69, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on February 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving family at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Albert was born on October 16, 1956 in Fort Meade, MD to parents Albert I. and Veda L. (Krichbaum) Angel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Sr, a granddaughter, Savannah, and father-in-law, Randy E. Hardy.

Left to cherish his memory are his deeply loved and treasured mother, Veda; his loving wife of 37 years, Tammy (Hardy) Angel; beloved children - Steven (Malinda) Angel, David Angel (Stephanie), Heather (Gail) Weber and Jennifer McBeth; precious grandchildren - Kaylee (Pacey) Cramer, Steven (Madison) Angel Jr, Lauren Angel, Tyler Angel, Abigail Berish and Grayson McBeth, along with another grandchild due in September; great-grandchildren, Valen and Madden Angel; siblings, John (Larae) Angel, Pamela (Mike) Kisko (with whom he shared a special bond), Michael Angel, Andrew (Sheila) Angel, dear family friend Theresa Taylor; nephews, Michael Kisko III, Jonathon (Mandy) and Cameron (Tiffany) Angel; a great niece; great nephews; his mother-in-law, Paulette Hardy, as well as many cousins and close friends. Special mention of friend, Katie Svec, who was a great support in these last few years.

Albert fought a long, but brave battle with cancer for several years. He remained hopeful, positive and took life and his illness on with his great sense of humor, wit and strong faith until the end.

He was a 1975 graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School and later graduated from Northwood School of Taxidermy becoming self-employed as owner/operator of Double A Taxidermy. He loved the Steelers, playing cards, storytelling, and history. He was an amazing storyteller that left everyone hanging on every word or in stitches with his great sense of humor. Albert was also an incredible cook. It was a great source of pride for him as he often received many praises and compliments.

He was deeply proud of his children and grandchildren and their many accomplishments in life. He was a devout Catholic and attended SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Fairchance.

Albert will always be remembered for his fun sense of humor, amazing storytelling, delicious cooking, and his big, generous and loving heart.

A memorial with Father George Saletrik and a celebration of life dinner is being held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Fairchance Fire Hall, 31 Pittsburgh Street, Fairchance, PA.
