Albert L. Wyant

Albert L. Wyant, Haydentown, Pa.

     Albert L. Wyant, 33 of Haydentown, Pa. passed away suddenly at home on February 27, 2026 after a lengthy illness.

     He was born May 15, 1992 in Fairmont, W.Va.

     Al is survived by his husband Ike Mitchell who he married on June 29, 2021. Also surviving are his mother, Peggy Roberts and her partner Bob Cummings; his stepchildren, Jessica and her husband Bobby Landman, Sandra and her fiance’ Nick Vicites and Devin Mitchell; Tina Vansickle, who showed her heroic efforts in her attempt to save him; special friend, Aaron Morgan (Andre) and many close friends that were like his family.

     He was a graduate of Waynesburg High School Class of 2010. He had a degree in Culinary Arts.

     Al “Ginger Ale” was a showman and would break out into song and dance, he was very entertaining. You could find him with a smile on his face and drink in his hand by the pool. Al enjoyed traveling to Wilton Manors Florida, going on cruises, by the time the cruise was over half the ship was yelling hey Gingerale, and out to dinners with family and friends. He enjoyed playing the machines at Sweet Peas in Fairchance, taking to the workers and other players. He loved to cook and bake for his family and friends.

     He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

     Our circle is broken and he will be forever missed.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Celebration of His Life Service begins at 6:00 p.m. with Jessica Mitchell officiating and tributes by Family and Friends.
