Anna M. Tate Kendro, 77 of Uniontown, Pa. died November 16, 2024.
She was born July 19, 1947 in Haydentown, Pa.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Carson Tate and Stella Clark Tate; brothers, Jack, Pete and John Tate and sisters, Catherine Haines and Virginia Ferrari.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Andrew E. Kendro; sons, Michael Andrew Kendro and significant other, Joseph Blair-Kendro, Hogansville, Ga., Stephen Edward Kendro, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Joseph Thomas Kendro, Mt. Braddock, Pa.; grandsons, Joseph Thomas Kendro Jr., Aidan Zachary Kendro and Carter Andrew Kendro; sisters, Madonna Bartko, Dorothy Leadbeater and Betty Felton and numerous nephews and nieces.
Anna was an active member of the Fairchance Free Methodist Church (Walk By Faith), the Choir and Sunday School Teacher.
Visitation on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home in Fairchance, Pa.
Funeral Service begins at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Charlie O’Brien officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
