Audrey J. Balazik

Audrey  J. Balazik, Uniontown, Pa.

     Audrey J.  Balazik, 87 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

     She was born December 11, 1937 in Collier, Pa. to her parents, John Zentkovich and Mary Louise Rerko Zentkovich.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Richard Zentkovich; sister-in-law, Dolores Zentkovich and her husband, Samuel Balazik.

     Surviving are her sister, Barbara Adams; nephews, Albert Ridenour Jr., Terry Zentkovich and Timothy Adams; niece, Audrey Ridenour and other loving family members.

     Audrey was formerly employed at Connellsville Sportswear, Meloni’s Restaurant and was an Insurance Branch Officer for 40 years for First Catholic Slovak Union.

     She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church and the Confraternity of the Christian Mothers.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 7, 2025 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. Her Funeral Mass follows at 10:00 a.m. in SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa.

     Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.

     The Christian Mothers will meet to have a service on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
