Betty Miller Obituary

Betty Jane (Moser) Miller, Smithfield, Pa.

Betty Jane (Moser) Miller, 87, of Smithfield, Pa. went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 21st, 2025, with her daughter Judy and her granddaughter Macy by her side, at Judy’s home where she resided for the past 2 years.

She was born July 10th, 1938 in White House Pennsylvania. Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother known for her caring heart that extended to everyone she met. Her life was defined by a legacy of faith, love, and strength. You could find Betty driving around with a car full of her grandkids as she was always willing to lend a helping hand and loved being a grandmother. She enjoyed quality time. Whether it was a sporting event, graduation, dance recital, birthday party, or holiday, you could count on her being there with full support. She was the center of a big family. With the characteristics of a teacher, Betty taught her family what a true relationship with Jesus looks like, that family means everything, and to always dance throughout life no matter what it throws your way. She excelled in the role of being a mother and grandmother. Betty fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Sherry Wilson (Buck), Robin Liberatore (Fred), and Judy Miller; son in law, Artie Jarrett; her three sisters, Helen Dillow, Mary Louis Kelley (John), and Linda Kinney; eleven grandchildren; Donnie Wilson, Heather Jacobson (Kevin), Randi Breakiron, Heath Breakiron, Brooke Patterson (JR), C.J Riemann (Miranda), Kelsey Breakiron, Paige Jubic (Dylan), Morgan Mihalsky (David), Macy Miller, and AJ Jarrett (Kaylee) and eleven great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Evelena (Fike) Moser and John Moser, her brothers, John Moser and James Moser; sister, Lelia Moser; beloved husband, Charles B. Miller; daughter, Pamela Jarret, and son in law, Thomas W. Miller, Jr.

The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Her funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Lamer officiating.

Interment in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
