Charles E. Eagle, New Salem, Pa.
Charles E. Eagle, 90 of Redstone Township, New Salem, Pa. passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
He was born June 28, 1935 in Ivydale, Clay County, W.Va.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Nathan and Sadie Eagle; siblings; fiancé, Rebecca Price and son-in-law, Curtis Johnson.
Surviving are his children, Richard and Carrie Eagle, Mary and Keith Kelley, Anna and Danny Batya, Charles Jr. and Donna Eagle, Cynthia Johnson, David and Kristen Eagle and Mathew Eagle; grandchildren, Joshua, Keith Jr., Kimberly, Patrick, Kasara, Kristopher, Danny Jr., Dominique, Ashley, Nathan, Zach, Keremy, Caileigh, Taylor, Curtis Jr. “CJ”, and Tatum; great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Ryleigh, Jordan, Seymonah, Danny 3rd, Lilianna, Carter, Patrick Jr., Priscilla, Lilah, Zyler, Ari, Remi, Eli, Maxwell, Evander, Maverick, and Rori; his sister, Nancy Smith and husband Bob; many nieces and nephews and very close friends, Ron and Melissa Little.
Dad loved hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Jones officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. with Military Rites being accorded by General Marshall Amvets Post 103 Honor Guard.
