Charlotte (Lilley) Rankin, Smithfield, Pa.

     Charlotte (Lilley) Rankin, 78 of Georges Township, Smithfield, Pa. passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, August 15, 2019.

     She was born December 17, 1940 in Georges Township, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Authur and Edith (Fisher) Lilley; grandchildren, Jessica Rankin and Nathan Rankin; great grandchild, Eddy Chase Rankin; sister, Lois Stanley and brother, Ronald “Duke” Lilley.

     Charlotte was a loving, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother; great great grandmother and sister. Surviving are her loving husband of 61 years, Donald Rankin Sr.; sons, Donald and Cheryl Rankin, Keith and Tina Rankin, Clarence “Bill” and Cheryl Rankin, Kevin and Millie Rankin and Terry and Amy Rankin; twelve grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sisters, Bonnie Schneider, Mary Ellen Rhodes, Sondra Tate, Emma Jean Kuznik, Nancy Churby, Edith “Elaine” Hostetler, Sharon Canon, Wanda Dice and Wanita Ferrar; brother, Arthur Lilley and nieces and nephews.

     She was employed for twenty-five years at Lake View Inn and Country Club.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dale Rexrode officiating.

     Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
