Christine (Dunham) Dancer

Christine Dunham Dancer, Smithfield, Pa.

      Christine Dunham Dancer, 65 of Smithfield, Pa., wife of Elmer Dancer passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 in WVU Uniontown Hospital.

     She was predeceased by her parents, James Dunham and Jennie Smith Glover; daughter, Christy Dawn Dancer; sister, Colleen Swaney and her husband Les; sister, Sheryn Porupski and her husband Jerry; sister-in-law, Susie Yanowsky and grandparents on both sides.

     Christine was a homemaker her whole life.

     Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Elmer Dancer; son, Christopher Dancer; daughter, Dawn Dancer; grandson Preston; brothers, Stanley Yanowsky, and James Yanowsky and wife Becky; sisters, Cheryl Boatright and husband Roger, Theresa Dunham and Rusty Sutton, and Debbie Dunham; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 until 11:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
