Conway E. Bechtol, Smithfield, Pa.

     Conway E. Bechtol, 66 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

     He was born December 22, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Darris Clyde and Alice Jane Alkire; two sisters, Wanda Gillen and Kathy Hardin, and daughter, Teresa Stafford.

     Surviving are his wife, Sarah McCourt Bechtol; the following children, Alley Rankin and husband Chad Rankin, Christina Walker and husband Tywaun, Patricia Bechtol and fiancé Andrew Blanda, Tonya Dice, Tasha Dice, Bobby Jr. Dice and wife Rebecca Dice; Brandon Dice and wife Pamela Dice, and Anthony Dice and wife Shawney; many grandchildren; siblings, Maryjane Malone, Commella McCourt and husband James McCourt; Darris Alkire and wife Shree Alkire, and Bobby Alkire and wife Maryann Alkire, and several nieces and nephews.

     He was a very loving grandpap and a hard worker. He was a faithful employee of Superior
Roofing Company in Uniontown, Pa. Also, he was a faithful member of the Smithfield Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Smithfield, Pa.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Smithfield Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 112 Main Street, Smithfield, Pa.15478 on Monday, May 11th, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service begins at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rose Bircher officiating.

     Interment will follow in Ford Cemetery, Cheat Lake, West Virginia.
