Daniel T. Bartko Sr., Smithfield, Pa.

     Daniel T. Bartko Sr., 73 of Smithfield, Pa. died on December 24, 2025.

     He was born September 3, 1952 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Joe and Madonna Bartko and two sisters, Patricia Bartko and Susan Kennison.

     Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Nancy Bartko; son, Daniel Bartko Jr.; grandson, Travis Smith; granddaughter, Katlyn Simon; siblings, Anna Arbogast, Joe Bartko Jr. and his wife Marti, Mike Bartko and his wife Brenda, and Karen Chapman and her husband Bob; several nieces and nephews.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kathy Griffith officiating.

     Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
