Danny Eugene Brink of Outcrop, Pa. passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the age of 79.
He was the son of James Brink Sr. and Ella (Riter) Brink Conroy born on December 2, 1939 in Fairchance, Pa.
Danny is survived by his children, Dana (Joseph) Pileggi, Regina (Thomas) Gasior, Jeffrey (Beth) Brink, Donna (Neal) Merrifield and Daniel (Danielle) Brink; his sister, Nancy Bucci; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by family and friends, especially great-great nephew Riley.
Danny was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. He worked for many years as an electrician for Westinghouse. Also for many years, he and his sons owned and operated Brink Auto Body and Salvage. Danny was a well-known pianist for many local country-western bands.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Robert Conroy; his brothers, James Jr., Robert, Arthur and Russell and sisters, Patty, Mary, Joy and Georgette.
The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Immediately following at 6:00 p.m. will be the Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Sharon Hamley.
