Donald Eugene Yingling, Fairchance, PA

Donald Eugene Yingling of Fairchance, PA passed away suddenly on December 8th, 2024 at the age of 69. 

Donald was born on October 21, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Shirley Irene Speelman and Donald Ray Yingling. He acquired his GED and went on to join the United States Air Force.. He was honorably discharged and continued to work construction for many years. In the air force he gained an electronics background and continued his electronic career with Sony and Boeing until reaching retirement in 2020.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Kay Yingling; and his parents Donald and Shirley Yingling.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Yingling and her fiancé Ryan Paull; step-daughter Tara Kurt and her husband Kris; step-daughter Trisha Schobert and her husband Eddie; Brother Merle Yingling; Sister Renee Herchko and her husband Paul; Sister Paula James and her husband Danny; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation will be held at Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home in Fairchance, PA from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday the 13th, 2024 with Reverend Marc Trujillo of Cherry Tree Alliance officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by General Marshall Amvets Post 103.
