Elizabeth “Libby” Conaway Isler, Uniontown, Pa.
Elizabeth “Libby” Conaway Isler, 94 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
She was born in South Union Township, Pa. on May 7, 1930.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Alva and Minnesota Conaway; the love of her life, her husband, Albert “Skip” Isler; granddaughter, Erin Lynn Mangosh; step grandson, William Parks, siblings, Okey, Charles, Jackson, Alva Jr., Mildred, Bertha, Clara Lou and Belva.
Surviving are her daughter, Debbie and William Parks; her loving grandson, Jeremiah Mangosh; step grandchildren, Erik and Erin Beth Parks, Cara and Michael Matras, and Brenda Parks; step great grandchildren, Billy, Brianna, Mikey and Eli; siblings, Blaine, Jim and Ruth Ellen, Opal, Linda, and Beatrice; sister-in-law, Betty Lou and many nieces and nephews.
Libby was the oldest living member of the Masontown Mennonite Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher, Bible School teacher and very active with the Quilting group.
She was a good homemaker, great baker and people loved her nut rolls for the holidays.
The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Additional visitation in the Masontown Mennonite Church on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rich McIntyre officiating.
Interment will follow in Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.
