Ellen Sue Frame Messenger, Uniontown, Pa.

     Ellen Sue Frame Messenger, 74 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away at home with her loving family by her side and went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

     She was born January 17, 1952 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Richard “Dick” and Viola Lewis Frame; in-laws, Milo T. and Barbara R. Ringer Messenger; daughter, Linette J. Messinger and grandson, Jack Reed.

     Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Frederick A. Messenger; daughter, Tessa Reed and husband Keith Reed; granddaughter, Amanda Reed; siblings, April Baughman and husband James “Alan” Baughman, and Richard A. “Butch” Frame and several nieces and nephews.

     Ellen was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Uniontown; she loved to oil and acrylic paint, helping others, fellowshipping with her church family; praising her Lord, taking care of her husband and loving her grandchildren.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jason Lamer and Pastor Carl Desmartin officiating.

     Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
