Emil G. Greathouse, Fairchance, Pa.

     Emil G. Greathouse 84 of Fairchance, Pa. passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 15, 2026 in his home.

     Emil worked for Sensus Technologies/Rockwell for 30 years where he met many friends and became a very well-liked by everyone within the company.

     Emil was a caretaker to his loving wife of 60+ years Marie, whom preceded him in death. Marie’s family, the Blairs, would like to express their gratitude to Emil for all that he did for his wife, especially in her later years.

     Preceding him in death in addition to Marie are his father, Joseph F. Greathouse; his mother, Ruth B. (McDonald) Greathouse; brothers, Joseph “June” C. Greathouse, John L. Greathouse, Terry D. Greathouse Sr. and Roger L. Greathouse; and sisters, Audrey “Irene” Friend and Carolyn V. Dutkewycz.

     Surviving are his sister, Donna Kloock; brother, Danny Greathouse; he was loved by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins; a very close friend like a brother, Bruce Swaney; a very close niece, Jennifer Denney, whom was like a daughter to him; and a very special cousin, Glenn Wilson, for all of his prayers and helping Emil. Emil will be missed and loved by many.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
