Fred R. Dice, Fairchance, Pa.

     Fred R. Dice, 95 of Fairchance, Pa. passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025.

     He was born March 12, 1930 in Old Oliphant, Georges Township, Pa. on March 12, 1930.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Marie (Cramer) and Lloyd Dice; wife, Connie (Crossland) Dice and siblings, Betty Hartman, Raymond Dice, Harry Rosevelt “Pete” Dice, Mildred Dice and Jean Anderson. He was the last surviving member of his parents’ immediate family.

     Surviving are several loving nieces and nephews.

     Fred was a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 37 for many years until his retirement.

     He enjoyed racing and especially NASCAR Racing.

     The Brownfield United Methodist Church was his church family home.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeri Penrod officiating.

     Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
