Gary W. Blau, Sebring, FL.

     Gary W. Blau, 66 of Sebring, FL died on August 30, 2020.

     He was born and raised in Rockville, MD., graduated from Richard Montgomery High School in 1972 and attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

     Surviving are his wife, Diana Blau; sisters, Carol Wiechers, Norwalk, Ohio and Pam Viner, Swanton, MD and brother, Lee Blau of Leesburg, FL.

     He was predeceased by his parents, Gus and Ruth Blau; his first wife, Staci Lyn Blau and in-laws, Mundana and Ted Zinna.

     Gary was an avid HAM Radio Operator for many years (W3AM). In the 70’s, he was a DJ in the Washington D.C. area for WGMS, WPGC and WHON; Director of Engineering with WNBC in New York City and was the Director of Engineering of Entercom Radio in Miami, FL until his death. He had been in the radio business for 40 years.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 12 to 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

     Interment is in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
