Gary Russell Decker, Columbus, Ohio

Russell Decker, 67 of Columbus, Ohio died on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Riverside Hospital as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born July 27, 1952 in Uniontown Hospital, son of the late William and Forresta Decker of Smithfield.

Russell was an active member of Discover Christian Church. He attended Albert Gallatin High School and was a graduate of Capital University. For many years he worked for Ohio Bell.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Diana Lee Tanner Decker; a daughter, Sarah Julee Decker and a son, John Douglas Decker all of Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving are his sisters; Sara Dell (Ronald) Metz of Smithfield, Pa. and Billie Lou (Daniel) Andria of Fairchance, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life was held on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Discover Christian Church, Dublin, Ohio
