Gary A. Kisko Sr., Collier, Pa.
Gary A. Kisko Sr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 12, 2024, at the age of 75, in Uniontown (Collier), Pennsylvania. Born on September 30, 1949, Gary was a devoted family man, cherished for his role as a loving husband, Dad, Pap, and great grand pappy. He was a garbage truck driver, heavy equipment operator, volunteer fireman at Collier VFD, and an active member at several Sportsman’s clubs.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Kisko; his children, Christine Balaban and her husband Tom, Gary Kisko Jr. and his wife Betty; along with his adored grandchildren, Alyssa Barclay (Adam), Logan Balaban (Cailin McWilliams); his great-grandchildren, Emalynn and Malia Barclay; brother from another mother (cousin) Rich Palo; nephew Anthony Kisko (Tammy), and great-nephew Jeremy Kisko. He also leaves behind his cherished fur baby, Oakley. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Yolanda and Alex Kisko, his sister Louise Riggin, and his brother Gene Kisko.
His gentle spirit and loving nature will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 17, 2024 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. The Funeral Mass follows at 10:00 a.m. in SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa. Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
