Gene Handlin, Smithfield, Pa.

     Gene Handlin, 78 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away at home with his family by his side on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

     He was born February 1, 1947 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding him in death was his wife of 48 years, Debra Braddee Handlin and his parents, Charles Handlin and Betty Tallentire Handlin.

     Surviving are his brother, John (Theresa) Handlin; sister, Misty (Rick) Hajek; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.
