Gerald R. Dillow Sr. “Jerry”, Smithfield, Pa.
Gerald R. Dillow Sr. “Jerry”, 85 of Smithfield, Pa. died on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 20, 1938 in Uniontown, Pa.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Priscilla and Howard Dillow; brothers, Jim and Tim Dillow; two sons, Gerald Jr. “Spanky” and Curt and sister-in-law Sue.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Helen Moser Dillow; two daughters, Debra and Laura; one son David; five grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one brother, Leroy and his wife Alpha; sister-in-law Michele and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry loved his garden and was proud of it and he loved to travel.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of IBEW Local Union 126.
The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Wayne Whoolery officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
