Gerald “Jerry” E. Bixler, Smithfield, Pa.

     Gerald “Jerry” E. Bixler, 71 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at WVU Uniontown Hospital with his loving family by his side.

     He was born April 15, 1954 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Russell and Martha Jane Dils Bixler; his wife of 50 years, Susan Ellsworth Bixler and his brother, James Phillip Bixler.

     Surviving are his five daughters, Nicole Kingan, Heather Hixon, Tammy Bixler, Stephanie Bixler and fiancé Timothy and Gerrianna Mack and husband Sidney; fifteen grandchildren, Victor, Izabella, Trinton and Mikayla Kingan, Timothy, Katlynn and Lucas Hixon, Desiree and Brody Bixler, Elizabeth and Rebecca Frey and Jacob Bixler, Sidney, Devon, Codie and Abbigail Mack and his sister, Pam Wishard and husband Randy.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
