Hazel Marie Harshman, Uniontown, Pa.
Hazel Marie Harshman passed away and went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on March 5, 2024 peacefully with her loving family by her side in the WVU Uniontown Hospital.
She was born June 4, 1930 in Everson, Pa.
Hazel was predeceased by her mother Clara Hazel Robaugh Harshman and father, Franklin Ray Harshman; brothers, Franklin Robert Harshman and James Richard Harshman; sister, Janet Lanham; brother-in-law, Donald E. Hutzel and great niece, Crystal Dawn Klink.
Surviving are her loving sister, Ruth Hutzel; nieces, Cindy A. Klink, Michele “Shelly” D. Hutzel, Renea Olman (Brian), and Erica Foster (Jay); great nephews and nieces, John Klink (Amanda), Brandon Jeffrey Chipps (Cindy), Ryan Michael Chipps, Justin Guthrie (Jessica), and Joshua Olman (Claudia); great great nieces and nephews, Trinity, Olivia, Rachel and Zac, Maddox, Jessa, Maverick, Kylar, Loreali, Lilliana, Bella and Olivia; great great great nephew Asher; special friend and pastor, Adam Lawson where she was a founding member of Fresh Fire Church.
She currently was a member of the Christian Life Center, Old Frame, Pa., Pastor Stoney and Chris Cottrell, whom she loved very much.
The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Stoney Cottrell officiating and Pastor Adam Lawson assisting. Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery, Scottdale, Pa.
A special thanks to the medical team on the 3 West and 1 East Floors of the WVU Uniontown Hospital, her caretakers from Angels on Call and LaFayette Manor Staff for taking great care of her the last 3 years. And a special thanks to Pastor Mark and Patty Kephart for all of the loving care given to Hazel.
