Irvin “Scrib” Lohr 84 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away May 2nd, 2024. He was born April 20th 1940 in Connellsville, Pa. to the late Frank and Madelyn Becker Lohr.
Irvin enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, boating, watching NASCAR and drinking a cold beer with friends. He belonged to the American Legion Post 278 in Fairchance, Pa.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Dolores Abbott Lohr; daughters, Connie (Harvey) Coffman of Morgantown, WV, Tina Delgadillo of Connellsville, Pamela (Ray) Jacobs of Terra Alta, WV and Debra Lohr of Connellsville; brother, John Robert Lohr, Cheat Lake, WV; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; godfather to Danielle Hess Lint, Perryopolis, PA; his close friend Norm Porupski and Fur baby, Mr. Kitty (Precious).
He was predeceased by three sisters, Wilma Lantz of Jeanette Pa, Joyce Miller Morgantown, WV and Judy Molter Morgantown, WV and two grandchildren, Christie Christopher and Matthew Burkholder.
Scrib was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Operating Engineers Local # 66 for 65 years.
We will not be having a viewing per Irvin’s request. Family and friends are asked to come join us in the celebration of Irvin’s “Scrib” life on Saturday May 18th at Cheat Lake Fire Department, 409 Fairchance Road, Morgantown, WV at noon.
