James E. Augustine, Hopwood, Pa.

     James E. Augustine, 73 of Hopwood, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

     He was born April 22, 1951 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his mother, Joann Augustine; wife, Linda Augustine; sister, Twila Boyd, and his uncle and aunt, Ben and Susan Augustine.

     Surviving are two children, James Miller and Marci Augustine; several grandchildren; sister, Sheila Walden; brothers, David Boyd, Michael Boyd, Larry Augustine and Joey Boyd; many nieces and nephews; close cousins, Ben Junior Augustine and Victoria Augustine, and very close friends who were family to James, Gary Sisson Jr. and his wife Jodie and their son Eli. James was a very loving and dedicated associate of Gary Jr.’s business and family for over 25 years.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Aaron J. Sandbothe officiating.

     Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
