James E. Rankin

James E. Rankin, Uniontown, Pa.

     James E. Rankin, 72 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at Mt. Macrina Manor.

     He was born April 28th, 1952.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Rankin and Gladys Rankin Marker; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Melrose and George Gaisbauer; two brothers-in-law, Joseph George and Clint Frangipani and nephew, Alan Wieblinger III.

     James is survived by his wife Sharon Gaisbauer Rankin; two daughters, Angela Wallace and husband David Wallace of Fairchance, Pa., and Kimberly Sapp and husband Alvin Sapp III of Uniontown, Pa.; six grandchildren, Kaley Rankin, David Wallace Jr., Amber Wallace, Tara Rankin and partner Gus Druga, Mason Smith and Isabella Sapp; three great grandchildren, Adalynn Thorpe, Elliana Wallace and Halle Druga; brother, Mark Rankin; sister, Edith George and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed.

     The family will be having a celebration of life dinner on November 12th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion LaFayette Post # 51 in Uniontown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
