Jerald D. “Hoss” Friend, Lambert, Pa.

     Jerald D. “Hoss" Friend, 76 of Lambert, Pa. passed away with his loving family by his side on May 10, 2024.

     He was born February 24, 1948 in Lambert, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Ransler Wayde Friend and Agnes Patricia Mizic Friend; siblings, Paul Friend, Ransler Friend, Ronald Friend, John Friend and Patricia Friend; son, Joshua Friend and loving companion, Peggy Hoffman.

     Surviving are his children, Jerald Friend, Ronald Friend, Robert Friend, Molly
Friend and Michelle Hoffman; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, James Friend and his wife Marie and many nieces and nephews.

     He was a mechanic by trade and loved to be outdoors.

     Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at St. Procopius Church Hall, 20 Church Street, New Salem, Pa. 15468.

     A special thank you is extended to his close granddaughter, Cara Friend and a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice of Uniontown and Amedisys of Masontown for all of the loving care.
