JoAnn D. Adams, McClellandtown, Pa.

     JoAnn D. Adams, 79 of McClellandtown, Pa. passed away at home with her loving family by her side on August 5, 2024.

     She was born in Shoaf, Pa. on March 24, 1945.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Helen Rerko Koskanic; husband, Robert Adams and son, John Adams.

     Surviving are her daughter, Lisa and Rich Newcomer; son, Robert Adams and grandchildren, Richie Newcomer, Robert Adams, and Avery and Abreyella Adams.

     A special thank you for always caring and being there, my dear sister, Veronica Adams and Barb “Boots” Adams; niece, Denise Adams; special friend, Tammy Rankin of West Virginia and thank you to the WVU Hospice Team.

     She attended SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church in Fairchance.

    The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. when a Funeral Home Blessing Service will be held followed by interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JoAnn Adams Memorial Fund, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. 15436.
