Johnette Upton, Fairchance, Pa.

     Johnette Upton 69 of Fairchance, Pa. died on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

     She was born February 21, 1949 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Johnette was a graduate of the former South Union High School Class of 1967.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Matzus and two brothers, Terrance “Peewee” Matzus and Kenneth Matzus.

     Johnette is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, William “Bill” Upton; brother, Gerald Matzus and wife Wanda, Uniontown, Pa.; special nephews, Sean E. Matzus and spouse Richard Ramirez, Fairchance, Pa., Kevin S. Matzus and wife Kelly, Fairchance, Pa. and Steven C. Matzus and wife Renee, Greensburg, Pa. and very special great nephews and great nieces, Caleb Chapman, Colie Darr, Elijah Wilson all of Fairchance, Pa., Carson Matzus, Walker Matzus and Brooklyn Matzus all of  Greensburg, Pa.

     At the request of Johnette, there will be no public services.

     Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa.
