Joseph P. Kissinger Sr., Collier, Pa.

     Joseph P. Kissinger Sr., 57 of Collier, Pa., passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 with his loving family by his side.

     He was born June 22, 1967 to Judith A. and the late Jerry L. Kissinger Sr. Also predeceased by his grandparents, William and Kathryn McDonough and Everett and Nellie Kissinger.

     Surviving are his children, Joseph Kissinger Jr. (Brittany), Brandon Kissinger (Peyton), Jocelyn Kissinger, Chanze Bryte and Madison Bryte; special grandson and his pride and joy, Zayden Lee; his mother Judy; siblings, Jerry Kissinger Jr., Kathleen Mansberry (Kevin) caregiver, and Deb Cunningham (Laura); two special brothers, Mark Green (Kelly) and Jack Morrison and many nieces and nephews and special friends.

     Joseph served in the U.S. Navy and was employed at Smithfield Hardware.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Time of Remembrance Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Casandra Costello officiating. Military Rites will be accorded by General Marshall Amvets Post 103 at 4:00 p.m.

     A special thank you to the doctor and nurses at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care given to Joe, especially his favorite nurse Amber.
