Joseph Paul Morgan Sr. “Poke”, Oliphant Furnace, Pa.

     Joseph Paul Morgan Sr. “Poke” 91 of Oliphant Furnace, Pa. passed away at home on Friday, September 29, 2023.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Chauncey and Elizabeth Morgan; wife of 64 years, Phyllis Hughes Morgan and daughter-in-law Diana Morgan.

     Surviving are his children, Joe Morgan Jr., Wayne and Karen Morgan, Mark Morgan, and Mike and Jenny Morgan; grandchildren, Jodie, Wayne, Chauncey, Samantha, Richie and Jessica; great grandchildren, Bobby, Taylor, Shannon, Payton, Maddie Jo and Halyna; great great grandchild, Amara and many nieces and nephews.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, October 2, 2023 until 10:00 a.m.

     Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
