Judith “Judi” Frith, Smithfield, Pa.

     Judith “Judi” Frith, 84 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at home.

     She was born August 30, 1941 in Smithfield, Pa., the daughter of the late William Dale Wilson and Anna Marie Wilson.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jack in 2021.

     A graduate of Point Marion High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania,  Judi taught English at Uniontown High School until her retirement in 2000.

     She was a lifelong member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church and former Sunday School and Bible School Teacher.

     Judi is survived by her children, Joel Frith of Smithfield, and Julianne Gaster (Shawn) of Fairchance, Pa. and her grandsons, Drew Gaster and Gage Gaster of Fairchance, Pa. Also surviving are her brother, Rodney and his wife Tee of Chester, Virginia, as well as several nieces and nephews.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Darrell Edgar officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
