Karin Lee Won, Smithfield, Pa.
Karin Lee Won, 69 of Smithfield, Pa. died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15, 2019.
She was born February 16, 1950 in Uniontown, Pa. and grew up in Smithfield.
Karin was predeceased by her parents, John Tretnik and Joan Rush; grandparents, Mildred and Frank Moser; son-in-law, Vernon Pratt and step-son, Robert Won.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Sam Won; three children, Sil Won and his wife Clover Won, Tione Rivera and her husband Jesse Rivera and Brienne Pratt; two grandchildren, Aria and Katalina Rivera and two younger sisters, Kathy and Elizabeth.
Karin was a fun loving free spirit, who loved to share her laughter and funny stories with everyone she met. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and traveling. She had a soft spot for all animals and always felt at peace near the ocean. Karin loved her Pittsburgh Steelers but most importantly she loved her family.
The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Time of Remembrance of her life will begin at 3:00 p.m.
