Lawrence Edward Lewis Jr., Fairchance, Pa.

     Lawrence Edward Lewis Jr. “Sambo” passed unexpectedly on Thursday, November 28, 2019, he was just 67 years old.

     He was born to the late Lawrence Edward Lewis Sr. and Martha Leona Wilson Lewis “Lee” on September 8, 1952. He resided in Fairchance, Pa. his whole life.

     Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sue Ann Defibaugh Lewis of Fairchance, Pa.; two daughters, Michelle Lynn Lewis “Mick” of Mount Pleasant, Pa. and Crystal Gail Barnhart “Georgie” and husband David of Fairchance, Pa.; one special granddaughter whom he called “Baby”, Kylee Ann Barnhart also of Fairchance, Pa.; a sister, Sandra Habrat and husband Walter of Severn, Maryland and her children, Tom and Ronnie Habrat of Severn, Maryland and Patricia Habrat Miller and husband Rick of Glen Bernie, Maryland; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

     Larry’s Trade was an autobody man, he worked at Macco, Larry Sweetz’s Gallatin Auto Glass, Medved Motors and Rose Motors where he retired from a year ago.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Chuck McLaughlin officiating.

     Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
