Luanne Kennison Myers, Smithfield, Pa.

     Luanne Kennison Myers of Smithfield, Pa. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at WVU Uniontown Hospital.

     She was born September 13, 1954 to the late Robert Kennison Sr. and Joanne Colebank Kennison in Uniontown, Pa.

     Luanne was a 1971 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. She retired from Lakeview Country Club.

     She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold “Howie” Myers and their four children, Brian of Smithfield, Jason (Karen) of Collier, Steven (Heather) of Hopwood, and Amy (fiance’ Frankie Barkovic) of Smithfield; grandchildren, Logan, Kimberly, Gavin, Braedon, Rory, Leora, Ashton and Landen; siblings, Robert Kennison Jr. (Rita), Susie Riggen (Brian), Rita Reese (Terry) all of Smithfield, Don Kennison (Linda) of Morgantown, W.Va., Dave Kennison (Peg) of Kingwood, W.Va., Debbie Forquer (Whitney) of Wadestown, W.Va., Rich Kennison Sr. (Jetta) of Fairchance, Pa. and Lori Myers (Paul) of Salem, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Cindy Everly.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Maggie Epley officiating.

     Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
